Custom Addition and Deck Restoration
This addition converted deck space into a large extension of a fully remodeled master suite. The existing deck was re-designed with a new stairs / landing combination and refurbishing with all new railings, surface, and refinished sub-structure. Layout and interior design by Bud Lawton at JKL Design.

The 12′ x 22′ extension contains sleeping quarters and a sitting area complete with a cathedral ceiling to give it a “grand” feel. The old exterior brick wall was removed to create the large opening between the old and new spaces.
All new deck boards, railing, and natural finish bring the deck back to life. A door from the master suite provides light and convenient access to the revived deck space.
A half bath was created in the main hallway of the house. The vanity was a piece of furniture converted to incorporate the custom sink and faucet fixtures.
The master bath was created in the old master bedroom area and is complete with a full tile shower including rain and wall shower heads. A solar tube provides natural light from the ceiling, as well as the glass block window – converted from a previously existing standard window. A separate water closet area off to the right contains a toilet and custom built linen closet. Recessed cabinets provide additional storage near vanity sinks including a well lit make up station. All tile work provided by Quebe Flooring.
